President of the Handball Federation of Nigeria HFN Sam Ocheo has stated that the Handball Federation is gearing up already for what will be an inevitable rush to execute its programs for the year 2020 based on the current COVID-19 situation.
Ocheo speaking in a chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid the current situation has affected programs already and that alone means seeking ways to reschedule and in other cases trying to just do something after the COVID-19 lockdown.
He added that everything however still depends on when the lockdown is over and the all-clear given to have normal activities return.
“Is it going to disturb our program for the year? Of course, it’s going to have a great effect on our programs for the year.
Apart from the Handball league, it also depends on when we get out of the whole lockdown thing. If we do not, we may have to rush our programs for this year. I just hope and pray that this goes very fast now.”
