HIFL: Missed Chances Condemns FUTA Tigers To A Point In Lagos

“It wasn’t bad, it’s a draw and we’ll be out against Onabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) tomorrow,” said a really angered coach of FUTA (Federal University of Technology Akure) Tigers Dr. Agibua Michael as he saw his side lose their goal advantage to draw 1-1 against ABUAD in their opening group qualifying game in the HIFL 2021.

After taking the lead in the first half courtesy of a clean header from a freekick, the coach was angered to see his side lose many chances and fail to score a second and he believes he will be making changes to the team in the next game.

“We’ll make one or two changes in the attack because we lost so many chances, up to five or six clear chances,” the coach added.
