18 years after Concord Press, publishing company of the Concord Newspapers closed down,the Staff met with the children of the publisher,Chief MKO Abiola.
The parties met at Abiola home,Toyin Street ,Lagos.
It was a reunion for the Concord family as over I00 former staff turned out for the meeting.
Lekan Abiola, Said the meeting was a way forward to see how the family would pay part of the salary arrears owe the staff.
Five former staff were appointed to work with the family and work out modalities on how how much would be paid and how it would be paid .
However, a family source who spoke on the condition of anonymity told Conerstone news that there may be hutches as the first son of MKO,Kola was not aware of the meeting, “he is not in good teems with his brothers who organized the meeting. He will not agree with the decisions by his brothers”.
