Katsina United head Coach Abdullahi Biffo says it is important to educate players in the NPFL on the new Laws of the game that will be implemented next season.
The International FA Board [IFAB], the body that determines the Laws of the Game have agreed to several changes during in-play regulations in football.
Last week, IFAB amended the laws of Free kick, Penalty, and handball and the new inputs which are meant to simplify the interpretation by Referees; a contentious issue that has left many as victims to irate club fans and ultras.
Speaking with brila.net Biffo insists Referees should be called in by clubs to explain new and extant laws to Coaches and players. ‘Periodically I always like to organize a seminar involving Referees to come to educate my players; because Coaches might be wrong too.
‘Referees are professionals and we should allow coming around bi-monthly to help us keep abreast; because of the ever-changing laws.’
