Ifeanyi Ifeanyi Rejoins Akwa United

Nigerian midfielder Ifeanyi Ifeanyi has returned to Nigeria Professional Football league side Akwa United FC, after ending his brief spell with Algerian side ES Sètif.

The former MFM Football Club of Lagos Captain joined the Algerian side from the Promise Keepers last season and has now returned back to the 2017 Nigeria’s Aiteo Federation Cup winners ahead of next season.

Ifeanyi Ifeanyi struggled to break into  ES Sètif’s first eleven, no thanks to injury and loss of form which prompted his return to the John Obuh side.

Ifeanyi Ifeanyi has represented Nigeria at the Under-20 level and he was also part of the CHAN Super Eagles team who won Silver medal last year in Morocco.

John Obuh will be banking on the player to rediscover his form and hit the ground running when the 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football league kicks off.
