2019 Africa Cup of Nations top scorer, Odion Ighalo, returned from injury as his Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua lost 3-0 to Tianjin Teda.
Ighalo came on as a substitute with his side 3 goals down already but could not save his team from being beaten.
He had an opportunity to score a consolation goal from 12 yards, but the former Watford Striker missed a spot kick as Shanghai Shenhua’s battle for survival continues.
Ighalo was ruled out of action for few months after scoring five goals to win the top scorer gong at the 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations in Egypt.
There are speculations that he is set for a return to Watford, with the announcement of coach Sanchez Flores whom the Nigerian had worked with in the past.
