Imama expresses concerns over Three weeks camping for U23s ahead of Libya clash

Nigeria U23 Head Coach Imama Amapakabo says he expects Libya to be a tough opponent when the sides meet in the second round of the 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Ahead of the first-leg clash between the countries, Imama expressed concerns over the time constraints of building a team good enough to represent the country, but remains confident his players will deliver.

” We’ve had the opportunity in a very short time to build a team; We know we’re going to have a difficult game, playing against a team that’s being together for a very long time.

“In three weeks we’ve been able to put together a team that will be able to give Nigeria a good representation.”
