ITTF Nigerian Open: World No. 18 Aruna Quadri downplays favourite tag

World rated Number 18 Tennis Player Aruna Quadri has once again talked down on his chances of emerging the winner of the ongoing ITTF Nigerian Open.

 

Quadri is remaining modest and has downplayed been clear favourite to emerge as winner of the tournament days after hitting his highest career ranking of 18th in the ITTF world ranking.

 

Quadri speaking on the pathway to the final said the quality of players playing in the tournament is strong enough to acknowledge the enormity of the task in emerging as the champion of the 2018 ITTF Nigeria open.

 

Alexey Liventsov is the second seed behind Quadri Aruna; Benedek Olah, Thiago Monteiro and Sam Walker are next in the order of merit.

 

Alexandre Robinot, Horacio Cifuentes and Hungary’s Tamas Lakatos complete the Top 8 names.
