Jose Mourinho set to replace Emery at Arsenal?

Jose Mourinho was sacked by the Manchester United board December last year, but the fact remains he won the Europa League for the club.

The Portuguese also boasts of Premier League trophies for Chelsea, and apparently, he’s looking to take home another major victory as team manager for another English club.

The goal of three championship titles by Mourinho could be realized soon as the former United boss is tipped to take over from either Arsenal or Tottenham.

Unai Emery is under intense pressure to make life easier for the Gunners, and in the absence of a turnaround soon, the Spaniard could be shown the exit door.

Reports said Mourinho is being lined up to take the helm at the Emirates in case the Gunners opted for a quick change of leadership.

“The organization and leadership the 56-year-old brings are exactly the qualities the Gunners are crying out for, with Emery looking as though he has done nothing to improve on the weaknesses left at the end of Arsene Wenger’s reign,”

However, Metro has said in a report that Emery’s departure, if it will happen, is not seen until the end of the current season.

So the most realistic opening for Mourinho is the job that at present is occupied by Mauricio Pochettino. The Argentine is in charge of Tottenham, but if the rumors prove correct, he will soon bump off Zinedine Zidane or Ole Gunnar Solskjaer from their respective positions.
