Kwara United sign 14 New players

Nigeria professional football league outfit Kwara United Football Club has revealed fourteen new players signed ahead of 2018/2019 Nigeria Professional Football League season.

On the list are twelve players and two goalkeepers signed from rivals club’s in the country.

Among the new players are goalkeeper Edwin Nwakama, Solomon Owello, Andrew Ikefe, Peter Momoh, and Chinedu Ohanze joined from Abubakar Bala’s former side Niger Tornadoes.

Mohammed Ekpoma and Ebenezer Odeyemi who was named the man of the match in the semi-final of this year’s Gold pre-season Tourney in Akure joined from Katsina United.

Meanwhile, head Coach of the Afonja Warriors Abubakar Bala said he’s delighted with the arrival of the players but believes there are still areas the club most improve.

“This is the outcome and good result of our hard work and I am OK with these players for now” he started.

“There are still much to do, we are still monitoring, scouting for more good players, these are the ones we have discovered and satisfied with for now”

“Rooms are still open for other good players to join us before the proper unveiling in Ilorin”.

This is just a preamble to showcase our newly discovered players as a professional team in the country.

We will communicate through the right channel, when we are to do the proper unveiling of the players and the new Jersey at Kwara state, Ilorin.
