Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwolu has fulfilled the 25 -years-old promise to Chioma Ajunwa, Nigerian Gold Medalist at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, by presenting her the documents of a 3-bedroom flat at Babatunde Raji Fashola Housing Estate in Iponri.
Chioma Ajunwa-Oparah (MON) set a record as the first Nigerian and Black African woman to win a gold medal at the world’s biggest sporting event and brought honour and glory to Nigeria.
She is currently an Assistant Commissioner of Police and has continued with her patrorism in serving the country.
