Leicester City boss Claude Puel has admitted that he may rest Super Eagles defensive midfielder Wilfred Ndidi for Saturday’s game with Huddersfield Town.
Speaking to the press ahead of Saturday’s home fixture against Huddersfield, Puel said he is looking at the possibility of resting Wilfred and England International Harry Maguire.
“We have to see if I have to protect some players,” said Puel. “Perhaps with Harry, because he played two full games with his team [England].
“Perhaps also with Ndidi, for example, because he traveled a lot to play against Seychelles, to play in Liberia.”
Ndidi has been one of Leicester City’s most consistent performance since joining the team from Belgian Jupiler side KAA Genk.
The player has also appeared in every Leicester City game this season, effectively replacing Chelsea and World champion, N’golo Kante at the King Power Stadium.
