LMC’s hammer falls on Wikki Tourists and Adamawa United

Wikki Tourists and Adamawa United have been separately sanctioned by the League Management Company (LMC) for incidences at their respective home games on Matchday 23 which have been deemed to be in breach of some sections of the Framework and Rules of the NPFL.

Wikki Tourists which hosted Plateau United were cited for violating Rule B13.52.1 of the Framework and Rules of the NPFL for failure to ensure adequate and effective crowd control when there was a clash among sections of supporters, which caused a delay in the match.

 

Consequently, the LMC imposed a fine of N1,500,000, to be paid within ten (10) working days.

 

Thr League Management Company also has slammed Adamawa United with N5 million fine, suspend points until 2021, home games to be behind closed doors henceforth.

 

Adamawa United fans also interrupted the game against Warri Wolves on Sunday,  which was later concluded the next day in Bauchi.

 

Wikki Tourists and Adamawa United lost the game respectively and new sanctions inpolsed on them is a further set back, as they currently battling relegation.
