Supporters of Lobi Stars FC turned out in their hundreds this morning at the Aper Aku Stadium to catch a glimpse of the club’s new Technical Adviser, Coach Gbenga Ogunbote, who was unveiled by the club’s Board and Management staff, Cornerstonenewsng.comcan report.
Ogunbote who appreciated the privilege given to him by the government and management of the club said
Former Shooting Stars Gaffer further revealed that he has been sort after by this club long while when Dominic Iorfa was here, but God’s time is the best that is why he is here today and hopes to bring smiles to the Benue soccer-loving fans.
Earlier, a minute silence was held in honour of the club’s late coach, Solomon Ogbeide who passed on before the end of the season.
He thanked coach Gbenga Ogunbote for accepting his new challenge in Benue and said ‘I have no doubt in your abilities to bring trophies to Lobi Stars Fc and taking us back to competing at the continental level”.
According to Paul TyoverThe team’s skipper Moses Bunde, who spoke for the players, pledged their support for the new coach and said they couldn’t wait to start working with him.
