Lobi stars goalkeeper Femi Kayode has stated that Lobi stars good run in the cup competition this season has been down to the players’ strong resolve to actualize their return to the continent after tasting action in last season’s CAF champions league.
Kayode speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the team wants to continue its continental sojourn as they look forward to their quarter-final clash with Rivers United.
He says the team will be ready to fight it out to the very end where the target is to win the Federation Cup title. He added that failure to return to the continental scene will make their last season’s qualification look like a fluke.
“This is a big game for big minds and time to know those that are ready to go back to the continent and to be Frank we are going all out to play Rivers united because we want to go back to the continent and not making it count will be like a fluke.”
