Lokosa not satisfied with Esperance’ 1-0 win over TP Mazembe

Super Eagles and former Kano Pillars forward Junior Lokosa has expressed his dissatisfaction followingEsperance’ lone goal win over TP Mazembe in the CAF Champions League first leg semi-finals.

A Youcef Belaili goal gave holders Esperance of Tunisia a 1-0 win over TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo on Saturday in their African Champions League semi-final first leg.

An intended cross from the Algerian winger evaded Ivorian goalkeeper Sylvain Gbohouo on 51 minutes of a tight match on the outskirts of Tunis.

It was the sixth consecutive win this season by Esperance in the elite African club competition while Mazembe surrendered a six-match unbeaten run.

In a chat with brila.net, Lokosa said the lone goal is a win but not too good as they face a very good Mazembe side in a second leg away from home.

Lokosa, a former Kano Pillars player and one-time leading scorer of the NPFL was once called up to play for the Super Eagles in a friendly encounter against Congo in Asaba but could not make the final squad going to the 2018 World cup in Russia.

Meanwhile, Wydad Casablanca edged Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa 2-1 in Morocco on Friday.

Both second legs are next Saturday with Mazembe facing Esperance in Lubumbashi and Sundowns playing Wydad near Pretoria.
