Rangers International of Enugu head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote has charged his team to learn from their mistakes and intensify their efforts in the next game after they suffered their first defeat in the competition in a 2-1 loss to Tunisian side Etoile Du Sahel on Sunday in a CAF Confederation Cup group stage match.
Ogunbote told brila.net that after they scored the goal, his boys went to bed and paid dearly for it and ahead of Rangers’ home game to Etoile du Sahel, the coach charged his boys to get back to winning ways at the The Cathedral.
“So many things happen when playing a game. When we scored, the the goal we went to bed and we paid dearly for it. There were also careless moments in our defence and were reaction was poor. Sunday is another time for us to come up and get more serious so that we can progress.”
The Gbenga Ogunbote side are third on the log with four point from three games, they sit behind Etoile who stay in second with same number of points and games but enjoy better goal difference.
