Man-of-The-Match winner, Success Makanjuola has expressed happiness with his side’s performance following the 1-1 draw against Redbull Salzburg in a test match played on Tuesday.
Makanjuola told brila.net that although the game brought great test to the team, they were gladt to have matched the expectations of the coaching crew in terms of actual gameplay.
“I’m happy we had a good game against a top team like Salzburg. I’m happy to have been voted man of the match but the collective effort of the team is more important to me than individual laurels”, he wrapped.
FC Banik Ostrava of Czech Republic striker, Tijani Mohammed scored for Nigeria in that match and the squad’s final pre-World Cup friendly will be against Red Bull Leipzig in Germany on Friday, with the delegation to fly out of Germany to Tychy on Sunday.
