Trouble started between 34 -year- old Egom, when he discovered that his would-be wife was allegedly carrying three months old pregnancy for another person.

He had just returned home to legally perfect the marriage between him and his Fiancée, Judith who had a baby boy for him and has been living with his parents since he traveled out last year.

A family source said Egom and Judith, were not quarreling until when he arrived last August and accused Judith of carrying three months pregnancy for another man.

“The girl agreed that he was pregnant, but insisted that Egom was responsible. Egom said it was impossible because he had not been around as the last time he visited Nigeria was July 2017.

He calculated the period he visited home and came to the conclusion that the pregnancy would have been more than three months and canceled the marriage plans.

It was gathered that few days after he canceled the marriage, gunmen stormed Edom’s house and shot him in his father’s presence.

A family source who spoke on the condition of anonymity as he was not authorized to speak to the press, said: ” There is no doubt, our son was shot dead by Judith. The Police should do the needful and interrogate her. We know our son was shot dead for canceling the wedding between him and Judith “.
