Many people were feared killed as a fuel tanker exploded at the Otedola Bridge, Lagos.

A Police Source told Cornerstone News that a truck conveying fuel had a brake failure and hit another vehicle before it went up in flames. The fire affected other vehicles.
A Police officer said:” Many people died, many injured and many are still trapped in the inferno. We can’t say the casualty figure now until we take stock. I saw some charred remains in some vehicles.T he charred bodies are not among the ten bodies that were recovered. It is difficult to say how many people that died.
“We advise motorists to avoid the place for the main time while families are advised to report to the nearest police stations about their missing ones. Those whose relatives traveled to Lagos from outside the state should call them to know their whereabouts
