Ahmed Musa, Alex Iwobi and Leon Balogun have arrived the Super Eagles camp ahead of this weekend’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash against Libya.
Other players who have clocked in are Jamilu Collins, Chidozie Awaziem, Ola Aina, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Shehu Abdullahi.
William Troost-Ekong, Daniel Akpeyi and Isaac Success were the first batch of players to join the camp yesterday.
The unavailability of direct flights to Uyo means the Foreign based players have had to come in pairs and small groups, per scorenigeria.com.ng
The Eagles will have their first training this evening and also train till Friday.
Meanwhile, there was an update on the Super Eagles’ first raining session. It was earlier scheduled to hold at the training pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, but was moved to the gym and premises of Ibom Hotel.
The team’s official twitter feed posted:
Training venue change.
Today’s training session now holds at the gym and premises of Ibom Hotel.
We regret whatever inconveniences this change may have caused the media and our fans who had planned to watch the open session at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.
