MFM FC coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu has promised to keep depending on young and talented players to achieve good results in the league.
MFM FC beat Remo Stars 1-0 in a match day 7 NPFL fixture away from home and Ilechukwu told Cornerstonenewsng.comthat he strongly believes there are lots of talents in the grassroots who just need the opportunity to showcase their talents adding that the young players in his team are already adapting fast to his football philosophy.
“Having a lot of young players in the team is not easy especially because they are from grassroot teams. Few are adapting to the method and philosophy.
I still believe that there are players from the grassroot who are better than the players in the League. When you have such young players it is only the beginning that may seem tough but I know eventually, it will pay off”, he said.
MFM currently top Group A of the Nigeria Professional Football League(NPFL) table.
