Nasarawa Utd striker, Adeshina tags 2018/19 season ‘energy sapping’

Nasarawa United striker, Thomas Adeshina has described the 2018/19 season as a very tough one tagging the abridged format ‘energy sapping’.

Speaking with brila.net, Adeshina noted that fatigue was a major problem and he never really liked the abridged format of the league.
“I scored 4 goals during the abridged league even with joining the league in the second round but I have worked very hard and had the massive support of my teammates and coach Bala Nkiyu.
“I personally would not say the abridged league was okay, fatigue was a recurring problem for players but teams could not really tell how strong they are, a case in point is El Kanemi that had been topping their group for six weeks and still got relegated.
“I don’t like it at all.”
Nasarawa United finished 4th in group B of the NPFL with a total of 33 points.
