The Nigeria Bar Association Ikeja Branch (NBA), today, presented the Lagos State Commissioner of Police Imohimi Edgal with an Award of Excellence by its Human Rights Committee chaired by Mrs. Caroline Ibharuneafe.
During the presentation, the Chairman of the committee who is also the Vice Chairman NBA Ikeja branch extolled the Command as an ardent protector of human rights in the country.
In his response, CP Legal attributed the achievements of the Command on human rights issues to the cordial working relationship with members of the Bar and the Bench. He added that the Command would not relent in its fight against human right abuses.
He also noted that the award would spur the Command to do more in protecting the rights of citizens in the state.
