The vice president of the NBBF, Babatunde Ogunade has sounded a warning note on the home based Basketball players who are grumbling about their inability to make the D’tigers World Cup squad.
In a chat with brila.net, Ogunade said that the crew will give them a chance but it won’t be an automatic ticket to get into the tournament squad.
However, It will be an avenue for them to prove their worth to the coaches in order to make the team, he said.
“We would invite them to camp, but if you don’t make the team on merit, That’s final.
“It’s not about being an home based or not!, every one playing in the team are also Nigerians, He concluded.
