Super Eagles and Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been rated as the player with the most tackles won this season in the Premier League, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
This was confirmed by the Premier League on their verified Twitter account on Saturday.
According to the Premier League, Ndidi has so far won 80 of his tackles in the current campaign for Leicester City.
In second place is Senegal and Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye who has won 79 of his tackles.
Former Leicester midfielder and France international N’Golo Kante, who now features for Chelsea, is third with 60 tackles won.
Ndidi was in action for the Super Eagles in their 1-0 win against Poland in an international friendly in Wroclaw on Friday night.
The former Genk star played the full 90 minutes for the Super Eagles and should be in action again against Serbia in another friendly in London on Tuesday.
