Flying Eagles and Galatasaray new boy Valentine Ozornwafor has nacked the Super Eagles of Nigeria in their quest to win the AFCON trophy despite losing to Madagascar on matchday three.
Ozornwafor told brila.net in an exclusive chat that he knows what the team can do, and he strongly believes the team can go far in this year’s AFCON in Egypt.
The defeat against Madagascar ended the Super Eagles unbeaten run of nine games in the biennial showpiece since 2010. As a result, Nigeria finished Group B as runners-up.
Nigeria will face Group F’s runners-up in the Round of 16 as they continue their march for a fourth Afcon title.
