Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu has stated that the Nigeria senior national team is completely focussed on beating South Africa as both side rekindle rivalry at the quarter final stage later this evening at the ongoing Africa cup of nations in Egypt.
Ogu speaking in a chat gathered by www.brila.net said the game against South Africa is a big game and that the players know what is at stake and would go all the way to put in their best to secure qualification to the next round.
“It’s a very big game against a very good side South Africa, but here we are working hard looking forward to the game and hopefully we will come out with a win.
“With the young guys we have in the team everyone is working trying to blend with the older ones here. The most important thing is to try to win the game and try to secure our qualification.
“Everybody is looking forward to this game.”
