Nigeria Rugby national teams not affected by Covid-19 Government directives for now – Ladipo

Captain of Nigeria’s Rugby national team Azeez Ladipo has stated that Nigeria’s Rugby national team Male and Female won’t be affected by the directives from the government on cancellation of all sporting activities.

Ladipo speaking in a chat with brila.net said the only place where the Federation will be affected is through the national sports Festival where Rugby was to make a return after 10 years of absence.
He said the national teams out of assignment sort of free space up without necessarily been affected by the scourge except it still lingers for longer than anticipated.
“The national team does not have any tournament until September, October and November Male and Female although we have the West African series in August so maybe that could be the one that will be affected if Corona is still around but for now, the national team is not affected in anyway.”
