Nigeria vs Egypt: Sodje expects good Eagles display against Pharaohs in Asaba

Former Super Eagles defender, Sam Sodje has revealed that he is expecting a good game against Egypt later today in an international friendly at the Stephen Keshi  Stadium in Asaba.
Nigeria are looking to use the game to prepare themselves for the 2019 AFCON proper coming up in June and hosted by today’s opponents.
Speaking with www.brila.net, Sodje added that the players should not approach the match with the must win type of mentality, as all that matters is for the team to have a good game.
“I think it will be good, and hopefully we can get a good result, it would really interesting to get some players in”.
“I don’t think the players should approach the game with the must win mentality, they should just be thinking about a very good performance and if they get a good result, it would be great”
“The important thing is to ensure we build a strong team that will compete at the Nations cup”, he concluded.
