The Nigeria Wheelchair Basketball Federation is working towards ensuring it can self-fund competitions and grow the sport in Nigeria according to the Technical Director Tamuno O’Brien Adoki.
Last year, only by last-minute efforts could the new board put together a competition, after a near futile attempt to find sponsors.
With several international engagements lined up for the new year, whilst the teething financial problems persists, Adoki has told Cornerstonenewsng.comthat it will require the concerted effort of the young board and other stakeholders to carry the agenda of a financially autonomous Wheelchair basketball federation.
