Nigeria Wrestling Federation President Daniel Igali has read out events scheduled by the wrestling Federation for the next year 2020.
In their quest for tickets at the Olympics next year, the Nigeria wrestling Federations have lined up programs that will enhance the performances of her athletes, to prepare and put them in shape before the qualifiers.
Some of these events is starting very early from next year as from January till the qualifiers period of the Olympics for the Federation as stated by the president.
Speaking to Cornerstonenewsng.comexclusively, Hon. Igali stated that the federation have a tournament lined up in Italy and its a ranking tournament, In February, we have the African championship in Algeria and then in March, we have the Olympics qualifiers, the oceanic African qualifiers in Morocco at least.
“We are looking at qualifying between 8 athletes, so we have a loaded year ahead in the qualifiers and in the preparations, and our goal is to win our first medal in Olympics in 2020, ” Igali told brila.net.
