NLO: Messiah Coach Tells His Players To Be Ruthless Against Zenith Emperor

Messiah players have been asked to be ruthless when they confront Zenith Emperor Football Club in the ongoing Nationwide League One NLO.

Messiah would be at home against Zenith Emperor in tomorrow’s encounter and a draw or loss to the home team would take them to the bottom of the table.

The pulsating encounter would hold by 4 pm at the Alade sports center, Ipaja Command, Alimosho, Lagos.
Head coach Messiah, Tunde Olayinka said he had instructed his players to go for victory in tomorrow’s match and promised their opponents a tough game.

“It has been a long time since we have won on our home ground and our next home match against Zenith Emperor is a must-win for us. Our position on the table is giving me a serious concern and we need to quickly come back to winning ways,” he said.

Asked why his players must be ruthless against their opponents, Olayinka said their opponents had beaten them before in their home and his players must collect the three points back if they want to avoid relegation.

“I have discussed with my players in camp that they should be ruthless in their remaining matches because the league is getting tougher and no team wants to lose again. We have a name in Lagos and we are doing everything within our capacity to avoid relegation so my players must be ruthless in order to get positive results in their remaining matches,” he said.
