NNL Boss reveals plans to grow the league, including TV coverage

Nigeria National League (NNL), chairman Chidi Ofo Okenwa has implored Nigerians and football lovers to keep supporting football development in the Country.

The NNL Boss in a media chat during the Super 4, currently ongoing at the Nnamdi Azikiwe, said the board has set up positive goals and template to improve the National League system in Nigeria to make it attractive to sponsors.

 

 

“As I speak, we have brought positive impacts into the second tier of the league and part of the goals is to beam our league matches on television” Okenwa told brila.net.

 

“We promise to do more next season by God grace and we are looking forward for Sponsors both home and foreign partners in any form to bring the efforts to limelight.

 

“Well, part of our plans is to make the Nigerian league more competitive. We’re developing a league that would compete favorably with the the rest of the world.

 

“Though government policy and some critical factors are seriously slowing us down, but I assure Nigeria and football lovers, to expect big packages and lot’s of surprises next season.

 

“I appreciate media support and partnership we have gotten so far, but we continue to appeal for more coverage so as to reach lofty heights.”
