The Nigeria Champions had previously lost the reverse fixture 0-1 in Enugu which means that another loss at the home of the 2017 CAF Champions winners will leave them with a miracle to qualify from the Group.
Speaking after the game to brila.net’s Seyi Alao, Alimi who just a return to the team after missing the game against Asec Mimosas in Abidjan and the visit of Wydad Casablanca in Enugu believed the team did well, even as no one gave them a chance to pick something from the game.
