NPFL: Heartland General Manager Denies Suspension

General Manager of the Nigeria Professional Football League Club, Heartland football club, of Owerri Chukwudi Ifeanyi has vehemently denied being suspended, reports.

The reports filtered in from the office of the commissioner for sports in the state on Friday afternoon that the GM has been suspended

Chukwudi through a letter on seme day denied the suspension and said it hold no water

He further explained that there was no time he was invited for any discussion or deliberations on the issues concerning the club.

Heartland are going through rough patches since the start of the ongoing season due to financial constraints.

They are presently placed 11th on table with 26 points in 19 matches.
