Coach of Nigeria’s basketball national team Alex Nwora has stated that he is excited the national team ended her world cup sojourn well after achieving one of the two set objectives of the team.
Nwora speaking in a chat gathered by www.Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid the world cup has been a learning experience for himself and the players and hope that the team will build on this and get better for subsequent outings.
“I feel really great knowing that we wanted to be on the medals table but we settle to go to the Olympics. I’ve learned a lot from this and the players and we got better every game.
This was a very important game for us and we fought back straight up to pick the Olympic ticket.”
