President of the Handball Federation of Nigeria Sam Ocheo has urged players, coaches and all other handball stakeholders in Nigeria to tap into the spirit of the International Handball Federation world cup after the biggest handball showpiece in the world got underway yesterday in Egypt and will run to the 1st of February 2021.

Ocheo speaking in a chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comrued Nigeria’s absence at the Handball global showpiece but stressed that it is equally very important that all handball players, coaches and referees follow the handball world cup to learn new things and be up to dates with latest development in the game and also use this as a spring board to ensure that Nigeria’s flag is hoisted in the next edition of the handball world cup.
“The IHF senior world cup commenced and that is the highest tournament in the IHF calendar, all the top nation’s in handball in the world are gathered there unfortunately Nigeria is not there present but we are still building. All I will tell our players and coaches is to tap into the spirit of the world cup and learn a lot.
