Rivers Angels attacker Blessing Okpe has expressed her desire to see the Nigeria women football league in Nigeria experience significant improvement to come close to what is obtainable in the Nigeria Professional football league.

Okpe speaking ahead of today’s final day in the Nigeria women premier league regular season said the league is getting better but the improvement hasn’t been significant yet.
“Women Premier league in Nigeria is improving but we just pray that the way they are doing for the guys, they should just try and improve for the girls too.
“So that when we look at the guys improving, we look around with the same joy to improve with them.”
