Akwa United Goalkeeper, Ojo Olorunleke has revealed the secret behind his penalty kicks saving exploits.
Speaking with brila.net, Olorunleke said his wife is always extremely happy whenever he saves penalty kicks and having known this, whenever he is faced with a penalty kick, he just thinks about his wife and goes the extra length to make her very happy by saving the penalty.
“I thank God for his grace upon me when it comes to penalty saving, it is actually one of my assets which i always thank God for.
My wife has always been the one behind my being able to get this done when it comes to penalties because she always motivates me a lot. She derives so much joy in seeing me save a penalty.
So when a penalty is awarded against me I think of her first and how to make her happy. I have always dedicated all my penalty saves to God and my wife.”
