Onyeka signs new five year deal with Midtjylland

Nigerian International midfielder Frank Onyeka has put pen to paper for another five year deal with Danish club FC Midtjylland.

The Superliga side are happy to retain the service of the midfielder for another five year after the player impressed the Club’s hierarchy with good performances.

The 21-year-old was linked with a move to France and England back in January, but the Club has quickly moved to tie him up to a new deal and scare away potential suitors.

Midtjylland Sports Manager Svend Graversen said the Club are happy to hold on to the player.

”We are talking about a player who, over several seasons, has developed very positively in our environment.

”In the longer term, we see him as part of our central midfield, and we know he is a humble person who will work hard to achieve his goals”.

Onyeka joined FC Midtjylland in 2015 and is credited with 47 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals.
