Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen made his much-awaited debut for Napoli in their 2-0 win at Parma Calcio on Sunday.

The Nigerian striker who joined the club in a €72milion deal from Lille in July was introduced in the 63rd minute for Diego Demme at the Ennio Tradini stadium.

His introduction however changed the game for Napoli as he went on to create four chances for his team.

He also had an effort at goal in the 80th minutes, but his shot went narrowly wide.

Dries Mertens and Captain Lorenzo Insigne who scored the goals for Napoli in the 64th minute and 77 minutes respectively, benefitted from the introduction of the 21-year-old striker, as they have more freedom to dictate the game.

The trio will be hoping to continue their partnership in the next game for Napoli.
