Nigerian International Victor Osimhen was on target for his French Ligue one side Lille Metropole in their clash with Olympique Marseille on Sunday.
The 21 year old forward however was unable to rescue his side from defeat as the visitors ran away with the three points on the night.
After a goalless first fourty-five minutes, Osimhen light up the game with a superb goal six minutes after the restart, but an own goal from Reinildo Mandava restored the parity for Marseille in the 67st minutes.
The away side hit the winner two minutes later through Dario Benedetto and condemned Lille to another defeat at the State Pierre Maupay.
Meanwhile, Osimhen has now scored 18 goals in all competitions for the Club, with coming 13 from the league.
Lille remain fourth on the log with 40 points from 24 games, while Marseille remain in second position with 52 points.
