Kano Pillars head coach Ibrahim Musa has revealed the motivation fueling his side’s determination to win the 2018 Aiteo Cup; it’s not really for the glory!
Musa told Cornerstonenewsng.comthat the players have received assurances from the club’s hierarchy of a largess that awaits should they clinch the cup.
On Wednesday, Pillars go head to head against 5 times winners Enugu Rangers; with history on the latter’s side.
However, neither have won the Cup in this millennium or in the late three decades – Pillars have never won it in their history.
The final of this year’s competition will be held at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State.
