Pillars wants Federation cup title to crown a good season

Kano Pillars striker Nyima Nwagua has stated that the NPFL side is seriously in the hunt for a Federation cup title to help crown a good season coupled with the disappointment of losing the cup final last year as the team gets set for quarter-final clash coming weekend against Aklosendi of Mafia.

Nwagua speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the team is determined to make things work this  time by winning a title after picking a continental ticket through the league.
He also added that they will not be tempted to in anyway try to underrate their quarter final opponent despite the gulf in class between both sides.
“It’s going to be the best way to say thank you to our fans and supporter after all we went through last year and not winning the league this year.
I think it’s going to be something we are going to be really happy about. The fact that they have gotten to this point, I don’t think its a team we have to underrate.”
