Playing Against Team Lagos Will Boost Our Confidence- Oluwaseun Sunday Admits After His Team’s 3-1 Loss To Team Lagos In Ogun State

Following his team’s 3-1 loss to Team Lagos in Ogun State, Remo Stars U19 playmaker, Oluwaseun Sunday has admitted that the game against the Lagos Based side is a confidence booster for them, ahead of their subsequent matches in the ongoing Creative Championship League.

Remo Stars U19 lost at home 3-1 to Team Lagos in a friendly game played on Tuesday, as both teams used the match as an opportunity to prepare themselves for their various ambitions.

Team Lagos executed the match as a warm-up game, ahead of the upcoming National Sports Festival which commences on February 14th in Benin, while Remo Stars U19 used the game as a test game as well, as they aim to remain top of the Creative Championship League Table and win the competition.

Speaking after the game with Sports247, Oluwaseun Sunday took some positives out of the game despite the loss, admitting that playing against a strong and better opponent like Team Lagos will help boost the confidence in his team, as they aim to remain top of the Creative Championship League table.

“The Game was a tough match. The intensity was extremely high as well”.

“This game will help us in our subsequent matches because they (Team Lagos) are quick, fast, and are a better opponent than us. So the game will help us improve our game and boost our confidence as we play more matches in the Creative Championship League”, he stated.

Oluwaseun Sunday will hope to help his team (Remo Stars U19) remain top of the Creative Championship League table, as they aim to win the competition, come to the end of the League.
