Police charge 14 traffic offenders to court, warn drivers

Alleged Homicide: Court remand 60 Shi'ite members to Abuja, Niger state correctional centers

The police yesterday charged 14 traffic offender to the Lagos Mobile Court for allegedly violating the state traffic laws.
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police CP Hakeem Odumosu ,has therefore warned motorists to stop violating traffic laws as the command would deal with anyone who violated the state traffic laws.


The accused persons are; Oscar Bright King, Ibitoye Olumide, Nicholas Elaeeka , Solomon Anuka, Emmanuel Tochukwu, Onyeka Frank, Tunde Abubakar, Alex Otabor, Moruf Kareem, Akala Gani, Taiwo Bolade, Okechukwu Ebano Uzodu and Tijiani Richard.

Also brought before the court are 16 vehicles impounded for violating the state traffic laws.

CP Odumosu, who made this disclosure said that the vehicles impounded included ; four Volkswagen commercial buses, Hyundai Santage with number plate , KTU 332 BH, Toyota Sienna bus ,YAB31PP, Honda Accord car ,BDG492EV, Nissan bus, KTU 832XR, two Toyota Hiace buses, AKD16XT, Mazda 6 car ,LSD 729FW, Honda Ridgeline, Toyota Camry, Volvo car, Lexus Car ,KSF 10 FU, and a Mini Commercial bus ,EKY 170XV.

“The clamp down on traffic laws violators, especially Vehicles driving against traffic (one way) ,code named ‘Traffic must flow in Lagos ‘ will be sustained until sanity is restored to our roads.
Odumosu enjoined motorists to obey traffic laws at all times .
