It was a masterclass display from Kwara United as they defeated Insurance of Benin 3-0 at the ongoing pre-season tournament in Asaba.
Kwara United’s Midfielder Olawale Isiaka Ganiyu, curled home a beautiful ball into the bottom right corner for the game opener, before orchestrating the move that resulted into the second goal.
Olawale was in his element again, when he combined well with home boy Issa Magaji to set Ebenezer Odeyemi who skipped past two Insurance defenders before he, calmly, laid the ball to Tobi Adeyi who made no mistake from yards out.
Abdullahi Biffo will be encouraged with such display, as the Coach hopes to guide Kwara United back to the Nigeria Professional Football League next season.
The 2019/2020 Nigeria National league season will kick off on November 1st, 2019.
