The Lagos State Police boss,Mr Imohimi Edgal ,has thanked Lagosians for maintaining law and order during President Mohammadu Buhari visit to Lagos.
In a press statemen by Police Spokesman for the command ,Mr Chike Oti ,made available to Coneratone News he said:”The Lagos State Police Command wishes to thank Lagosians for their cooperation and support to the Command in ensuring that the visit of the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari was hitch free.
“The Command however, regrets inconveniences suffered by Lagosians during this short visit. It was occasioned by our efforts at making sure that the President had a safe and smooth ride across designated parts of the state.
“The command believes that the massive support and cooperation given to it by Lagosians while the President was in town is an indication of a virile police/public partnership. In the same vein, the Commissioner of Police Lagos State felicitates with all Christians as they mark the Good Friday and wishes all Lagosians a happy holiday”.
