FC Zurich striker Stephen Odey has increased the pressure on Gernot Rohr led technical crew for invitation to Super Eagles for 2019 AFCON qualifiers against South Africa as he was again on target for his Club on Sunday.
Odey, who was on target in FC Zurich Europa league win over Leverkusen on Thursday continued his new found form as he scored his 10th goal of the season in FC Zurich 3-2 defeat to Gallen.
Odey was the creator of Zurich’s opening goal scored by Benjamin Kololli to bring scores at 2-1 in the first half. Gallen increased their lead in the mid way into the second half, before Odey got on score sheet in the 94th minutes to reduce the deficit.
Nigeria will visit South Africa next month for all important 2019 AFCON qualifier clash with the Bafana Bafana and Odey will be hoping his form can earn him invitation into the team.
